Common questions about connecting your accounting software

Which accounting software does steady.ae integrate with?

We currently support direct integrations with Xero and QuickBooks Online. We also offer a REST API for custom integrations with other systems. If you use different accounting software, you can manually upload invoices via CSV or our dashboard.

How long does it take to set up an integration?

Most integrations take less than 5 minutes. Simply authenticate your accounting software account, select which invoices to sync, and we'll handle the rest. Our team is available to assist with setup if needed.

Will the integration update my accounting software automatically?

Yes. When payments are recorded in steady.ae, we can automatically sync payment status back to your accounting software, keeping your records up to date without manual data entry.

Is my accounting data secure?

Absolutely. We use bank-level encryption (AES-256) for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. We only request read access to invoices and customers. We never access your bank accounts or sensitive financial data. All integrations follow OAuth 2.0 security standards.

Can I integrate multiple accounting systems?

Yes, enterprise customers on our Premium plan can connect multiple accounting systems or entities. This is useful for businesses managing multiple subsidiaries or divisions.

Do I need technical knowledge to set up integrations?
